History

Children’s Fund was incorporated in Washington, DC on February 14, 1997 by Sherlie Scribner. Her vision was to improve the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children around the world. Children’s Fund is an all-volunteer, public charity supporting projects in the US and internationally that make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children who live in extreme poverty and may have lost one or both parents or their families are unable to care for them.

Children’s Fund has helped children, youth and families in the following countries:
